Grandparents Day celebration
Like the infinite reach of the sky, you shower unconditional love upon me!
Like the soothing calm under a tree, with arms open you welcome me!
Like the amazing magician, you surprise me with my favourite toy!
Like the fairy, you treat me with my favourite dish beyond joy!
Like the dear friend, you play with me enthusiastically all day!
Like a doting grandchild, I love you and wish you a ‘Happy Grandparents Day’!
Grandparents are the family’s greatest treasure, the greatest storytellers, and the keepers of tradition. Through their special love and care, grandparents keep a family close to heart. To honor them, the students of SRPS celebrated Grandparents Day with abundance of respect and admiration. Power packed dance performance by students on the traditional song “DADI AMMA DADI AMMA MAAN JAO” left the spectators spellbound and thoroughly mesmerized. Students also expressed their love and gratitude for their grandparents through their lovely speech, which left the tears in the eyes of the grandparents as they were overwhelmed to see their grandchildren performing for them.
The fond affection of grandparents reflected in the very fact that they held the hands of their respective grandchild while performing some of the games organized like blindfold.
The children were very excited to see their grand dad or grand mom participated in the games and cheered them wholeheartedly. The grand parents were very sportive, they showered their blessings in the form of bhajans and their life experiences.
This Grandparents Day, our students cut their Birthday cake with their grandparents, and Principal Mam and as a token of love, the students made lovely cards for their grandparents and gifted them.
Mrs. Harveen Sharma, the Principal, thanked every grandparent for their presence and for their continuous support and guidance to children.
